Agricultural Credit Corporation (ACC) is a Guelph based not-for-profit agriculture finance organization that was founded in 1992 by a coalition of farm organizations. Since its inception, ACC has loaned over four billion dollars in operating funds to Canadian producers in a number of different agricultural areas. We strongly believe our employees are what makes us successful. ACC has an exciting and rewarding opportunity available for a Credit Analyst/Lending Service Representatives to join our Guelph team.

What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a dependable, driven individual who has strong work ethics, devoted to meeting customer service and business needs related to advancing loans to Canadian farmers.

What you’ll do at ACC
• Provide superior customer service, ensuring customer’s needs have been met to their satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with government and company policies, processes and guidelines.
• Determine customer loan eligibility based on types of collateral used (e.g. crop insurance).
• Follow up on any missing documents or signatures via telephone and email.
• Order credit bureaus, performs lien searches and registers security liens.
• Mitigate risk through performing due diligence in analyzing credit worthiness and provide justification for granting loans on the basis of complete financial statement analysis and other relevant criterias.
• Work with creditors to obtain signed Priority Agreements where liens exist.
• Communicate lending decisions to French and English producers, including those who have been denied.

What does it take to do this job?
• Minimum 5 year’s credit granting experience, including superb ability to interpret financial data.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.
• Must be dependable, driven, have strong work ethic, high drive and initiative.
• Highly analytical, meticulous attention to detail with dedication to quality and accuracy and continuous learning.
• Sound knowledge on Advance Excel. Knowledge of Agriculture and/or crop insurance an asset.
• Excellent time management with ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Required to work overtime (up to 48 hours) during peak seasons to meet customer needs.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
