Agricultural Credit Corporation Welcomes Two New Directors to Board

GUELPH, Ontario, June 3, 2024 - Agricultural Credit Corporation (ACC) proudly announces the addition of two distinguished professionals to its Board of Directors: AJ Gill and Brodie Berrigan. Their appointments, approved at the 2024 Annual Meeting, underscore ACC's commitment to strengthening leadership and advancing support for Canadian producers.

AJ Gill is a Partner and MNP’s Director of Agriculture Risk Management Resources in Kelowna. With extensive experience in federal and provincial governments, AJ played a pivotal role in transferring the AgriStability program to the B.C. Ministry of Agriculture. His community involvement, including roles with the B.C. Cancer Foundation and Kelowna General Hospital Foundation, underscores his dedication to supporting the agricultural sector and broader community.

Brodie Berrigan is the Director of Government Relations and Farm Policy at the Canadian Federation of Agriculture. He has held key roles in federal departments such as Employment and Social Development Canada. His commitment to policy development and advocacy for a sustainable agriculture sector, combined with leadership roles in community organizations, demonstrates his comprehensive understanding of the agricultural landscape and vision for its future.

The inclusion of AJ Gill and Brodie Berrigan on the ACC board promises to bring innovative perspectives and strengthened advocacy for the agricultural community. ACC remains dedicated to providing low-cost operating loans and robust support to Canadian producers, ensuring continued growth and sustainability in the sector.
